Question Please help with size problems in pics

I have been using this software for some time now, and have suddenly come up against a problem I have never encountered. Granted I use only the most basic features though. This is very bad timing to have a problem since I plan to start listing items to sell.
Problem is that all my pics appear WAY too small. I have no idea what I did exactly, nor how to correct it. This is the case both for pics taken with camera, and pics captured on the Internet from manufacturers sites. This never happened until just lately.

Thanks much for any advice.

First, unless you have written permission from the manufacturer/website owner, capturing pictures from their site is copyright infringement. You may want to re-think how you do this, or be willing to pay the heavy fines if they find out.

As for small pictures, they are probably 72 dpi and your program is showing them to you in 300 dpi.

I will have to chedk with the manufacturer. It had not occurred to me since the manufacturers do not sell direct to the public, but excellent point indeed.
How do I change the dpi setting?

Format/Resize Image. If the pics are only 72ppi and small in inch size then they will be even smaller when you change the pixels to 300. You could drag the pics onto a 300ppi blank canvas and use the corner resizing handle to enlarge them but the quality wouldn't be too good.

Since we don't know what type of photo's/images the OP is getting from the interent. It is totally possible that she has a legit reason to use them. Not saying that this is what the OP is doing, but we can't jump to conclusions either!!
Case in Point 1: Maybe she is getting them from a royalty free photography site which states that the terms are unlimited. Or even a paid photography site and she is 1) right clicking and copying them the wrong way from the site 2) or using the Save Target As on the wrong image and not on the full size image. YWIM

Case in Point 2: I had a customer who had a legal right to use John Deere, ASV, EZGO golf carts and many, many other types of equipment logo's on his web site, since he sells that type of stuff and has a dealership of their products. I often used logo's found on the internet to place on his equipment sales pages. Would be very hard to catch customers attention with just a big word JOHN DEERE or something like that. I could have made my own JD Logo and it would be great, but it wouldn't be the standard JD logo either.
