Question Saving images as PDF file?

Hi everyone,

I am hoping that some of you more experienced DIP users might be able to help with this! I am trying to find out if it's possible to save a completed image as a PDF file? I am using Digital Image Suite 2006. I need to create a layout and save it as a PDF file.

Hopefully someone can help! Thanks so much!
Sue

Hi Sue!

You can not save a pdf file in DIP.. you have to have Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro to be able to save a document into a pdf.

Hope this helps!

You don't need Acrobat Pro. Install CutePDF - you can get it here.

Warning, some software on this site require that adware stuff to work properly, but the basic CutePDF does not! At least this company is up front enough to tell you they are installing it when you install their software!

Do your stuff in DIP and set it up like you normally would to print. Then go to print. When your print dialog comes up you have a new printer installed 'CutePDF' . Choose this, print, give it a file name and done...

Be warned, just because it is in a PDF format does not mean it is free from other people tinkering. Anyone with Acrobat Pro, possibly other programs, can pull it apart and get your image back out....

Another note, once you have set up CutePDF you can print PDFs from any software that prints. Word, Excel, Photoshop, anything...
