Whew! Not crazy...well as far as this is concerned LOL Thanks SO much for checking and saving my sanity. And of course the G would have to be different upper and lower case I had this problem with another swirly type font (albermarle swash) or something like that and it does strange things with that font too. Oh well, thanks again I really appreciate it.

Another thing you might try is to ype the word in your other program that it works in - was it PSP? I forget. Then save that as a word art and copy and paste it into your DIP project. Would that work? Did that make sense to you?

I wanted to type the word love around the circumference of a heart and couldn't figure out a way to do it in DIP, so I did it in PS using a path and then just copied and pasted the piece of word art overlay into DIP.

You can't do it in DIP. You can only use the default shaped text options or make up different lengths of text and manually place them but that doesn't always give a satisfactory result.

The fix for problem swirly fonts that seem to have bits cut off is to use either Center alignment so there is space in teh text box before and after the word.
It also helps to flatten the text
