Vitural Photographer

I noticed that some people note in some layout that they altered their photo using virtual photographer.

I am wondering if you are able to use this program with DIP?

Yes, you can. Download virtual photographer and save it to the plug-in subfolder in your DIP program file. You can also go to Effects, Plug-in Filters, Change Plug-ins folder and browse to find the location you alternatively saved it to.

HTH, post if you have more questions.

This is my file path:

Local Disc C -> Program Files -> DIP10 -> Plug-Ins

Now, I cannot say with 100% certainty that I have not created the Plug-Ins folder myself. I do recall that plug-ins have been discussed before and I might or might not have created this folder while experimenting with plug-ins. So, if you look at your subfolders and don't see a Plug-Ins folder stuck between PIP and Shoebox then go ahead and create one, then save Virtual Photographer there.

I keep all my plugins in seperate folder
Just under C://Plugins - I set up the default browse to folder for the plugins as that folder but you could set it up anywhere on your hard drive.

so if I understand correctly. I install VP in a plugin folder. When I want to use it I would open DIP, pick the picture I would like to alter, then go effects, plugin and pick VP?
Sorry to be such a pain. I am just totally new to this program, but I do LOVE it!
Thanks girls, as always you're the BEST!

When you go to Effects/plugin filters, the last used plugin will show up. If you want to use a different one click on "change plugin", browse to the one you want and click OK. Now click on "launch plugin".

OK totally intrigued & totally dumb! I downloaded the program, downloaded the extra presets. Opened the presets which gives you folders. My question: do you just drop these folders into the optik Verve file or do you open the folders select & copy the contents into the optk Verve file? I opened the folders and copy & pasted.

Sorry if this is confusing....but I'm confused....did I do it right?
