I moved them all into the same folder as the other files and then deleted the empty folders and it works fine.

Thanks Kim! I did it the same way as you did. I assume that if you did it following Shellyrae's instructions it would be available to other programs like PE & PSP. Played around with it and it is awesome!

I have a separate folder on C drive for Plugins. Within that folder I have separate folders for each different plugin so it's easier to find the one I'm looking for. If I directed DIP to the main plugin folder it would list every filter from every plugin at once. Makes it kinda confusing if there are 3 different plugins that have the same name for a filter though. That's why I direct DIP to the individual folder for a plugin. No mistaking which one I'm using then. Clear as mud? LOL

UGH..... I went to the VP site. Clicked on the download "self-extracting archive.exe and I never got the exe file???
I got 3 files, deep copper.vph, vitural photographer.abf, salmon vph and a read me file.

Can some one tell me what I'm missing? ((
I'm getting so frustrated...

Yes, that's all there is to it. Once your go into it via DIP/Effects/plugins it will work. All the presets are there. You can add the extra free ones too.

Question please: for the extra filters, the read me text tells me to hit "load" and pull one up. Works just fine. But a pita. Is there any way to get the extras into the built in presets so that they appear in the drop down menu? I suspect not or the read me would advise but if anyone has done this, I would like to know.

Jheri,
Thanks so much for starting this thread. After all your work to get it loaded I thought I should check out VP for myself. Well I downloaded and tried all the filters in less than 10 minutes because of all the info I had read on this thread LOL! I've seen VP used before too and was shocked to see its a free program. Thanks kimliizy & everyone who provided info on VP and DIP. I was reading it all with interest too and it all clicked when I went to use it! THANK YOU!
