There is a tut here..http://www.marysgraphics.com/picit.html
To make a mask suitable for use you will have to change the black to the right shade of blue.

There are hundreds of free masks on the internet but they are in jpg. I have tried with some success and a lot of playing around to change some of them to a png file (that can be saved) that seems to work. The 'dotted or pixeled' edges seem to work the best.

I can send the basic instructions to one of the wonderful girls that write the tutorials so they can fine tune and write the tutorial. I suppose I would have to ask permission from the maker of the original mask as it is going to be changed from a jpg to a png file usable in DIP. (Give me a few days to do this and see which is the best way...as there are several ways)

Are there any taker ons?

Here is an example using Sue Chastain' mask:

I'll be writing a tut on designer edges in the next day or two. Go ahead and send me your instructions and I'll incorporate them into one big tut. Your way may be different to mine so having alternate methods is always good to know. People can choose the method that's easier for them then. You can email the instructions if you like. kimlizzy@iinet.net.au

Kim,

Thanks so much for the email/offer. Hope you are not on dial-up because there is a 8+mb zip file. If you have any questions and/or problems email me.

Hugs,
Jeanne

Ok.... Here's the tutorial for making your own and for using premade greyscale masks and adapting them so DIP can use them.

Have fun!
