Once you have the thumbnails saved you just have to place them onto your background and arrange them to suit. They can't be "painted" onto your canvas. To do that you'd need to make them into "Photostrokes". There is a tut for making Photostrokes in the DIP tut section.

Or you can make them into stamps and use them that way.

I use the .png files just like I'd use any other .png file. I place it in my layout wherever I want and then adjust color with the "fill with color or texture" function. To adjust the intensity I use the transparency function.

Thanks so much. Those are all great suggestions.

I stumbled into this forum by accident. Since this program allows DIP to do so much more perhaps one of you ladies should submit a demo as a tutorial to let others know. Thanks again!

This sounds great. I've downloaded the program, but have never saved any brushes. I use DIP exclusively and didn't think I could use them. So now what do I do? Where do I get brushes to try out?

thanks

Just do an on line search (google, whatever) for photoshop brushes - there are tons of free brushes out there!

Thanks; I've done that, but now can't get them a decent size. Followed directions from another post, but they still come into DIP tiny.
