Now I'm confused!

At Amazon I see so many different versions of 10...What is the difference between
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...392208-3813427

and
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...nce&s=software

and
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...nce&s=software

and
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...nce&s=software

I see PI Premium what is that...
Another question I have is will I be able to open my PI Photo 2002 in the newer versions?

Thanks in advance for any & all help!

Kisses
Wendy

I had Digital Image Suite 9, and today I got Digital Image Suite 2006 because it now supports both Nikon's and Canon's RAW formats. I like to take my photos in RAW instead of JPEG because I edit and play with the photos a lot! (My Canon camera shoots only Raw or Jpeg - no Tiff.) I used to use an intermediate program to convert my RAW photos to TIFF, then use DIP. Now I can use DIP 2006 directly to edit the Raw pictures and save them to TIFF...saving me hours!

Wendy

The first link is DIp version 9 - no library
The second link is DIP version 10 with the Suite(library)
The third link is DIP v 10 no library
The fourth link is Picture iT premium and is a very watered down version - it's very similar to 2002 without the ability to use plugins, has only a handful of filters.

Just FYI...I saw DIP Suite on Amazon for $59.99 (has a $30 rebate and free shipping) and that's $10 cheaper than at a local store here.

Annnndddd...DI Suite 2006 IS compatible with photoshop filters! WooHoo! Not the ones, requiring an "action" yet (wistful sigh) but getting there! I have it and LOOOVVVEEE it! And there are many other manipulations available to perform on B&W as well. and I know I am just scratching the surface.

If you can find DIP 10 Suite and cost is an issue, I would absolutely get that over the 7 or 9 as it offers so much more and the library is a wonderful organizational tool. 7,9 and 10 will likely only be available on the clearance shelves by Fall. So snap them up whille the prices are low and you still can!
