I am using MS Image Pro 10.
Whenever I go to print after selecting the image or images in library, the first print option screen has a print button at the bottom left. Pressing this button does not actually print anything. The MIP printing message appears and then disappears. Windows ME or the print buffer does not pop up. If I select the paper type just above the print button and continue on from there, the program prints.

Is this normal or is theere another quick print feature?

I am running MIP 10 on an IBM laptop with 550 MHz and 256 megs memory using Windows ME.

I find printing can take 2 - 5 minutes or longer once I click the final print button before the information goes to the print buffer for processing. Is this normal or is something wrong that I can fix?

I find that the larger the file size, the longer it takes to buffer.

I turned my buffer off and it helps somewhat with those larger files.
I havent ever tried to print from the library so I cant help with that I'm afraid.

I haven't printed from the Library before either so I just tried it out. I selected the picture I wanted to print then clicked on the Print button on the toolbar. The next screen that opened was the exact same printing screen as pops up from DIP. I selected "exact size" and then clicked on the Print button which is at the bottom left of the screen. My HP printer screen popped up immediately and my picture printed out fine.

My only suggestion is to re-install/update your print drivers.
