Printing 12x12 with DIP

Aghhh..I am having trouble printing 12 x 12 w/my DIP. My printer is EPSON 1280 (no problem supporting 12x12). When I go to print I change the paper layout to 11X17,then go back to print custom size. When I plug in the numbers 12 X12 inches it wants to print 12 X8. or if it allows 12 X12 the whole picture is not in it. Is there a archive forum available that would allowme to look up the answer. Thanks for your time

No idea sorry but have you tried checking the box that says "actual size" rather than typing in 12x12 yourself?

Now I am really going to sound stupid. Where is actual size noted? What I see when I hit print is a drop down box that says select a print size. In the drop down box it says Fit it print, exact size or custom then some other sizes noted (no 12x12), wallet etc. If I leave it to fit to print it will be 11 X 17. Sorry for such an elementary question.

Patte,
I use DIP 9 and in my print option I can select custom print resize it to 12.00 x 12.00. In the printer settings paper size I can choose 13.5 x 17 or 13 x 19 scale to print. My printer does not support the large format but I would think that if you choose the larger paper size it would print 12x12 within the boundaries of the larger paper size. I ususally print 8x8 pages but I always select the letter size 8.5x11 and trim the print.
Hope you figure it out - Eve

Sorry, I was going from memory. (I'm getting old LOL).

I select Exact Size and it prints fine. I don't do 12x12 but if I do an 8x8 or any odd size like 8x5 1/2 etc and select Exact Size it always prints out fine.
