Question Help Opening Images

Hi,
Hope I can explain my question ok. When I have opened my canvas and want to inport the background , I press import ,from my computer then search for the background and then import it to my canvas, but i am going through the same procedure ever time i want say a picture and a frame,or button whatever,is there anyway of say finding the bits i am going to use for that particular page and maybe putting them in the stack or file section at the side of the main canvas so i can then drag them from there when i need them. It would be so much quicker maybe its not possible ,but thought i would as . I am using Digital Imaging Pro 10. Many Thanks

Only use "Import" for cameras and scanners.

There are two ways to get the element you want:

1. File/Open. Browse to the element and click OK. The element will no be visible in the Files stack. Left click on it and drag it onto your canvas. You can now close the original file by right clicking on it in the Files stack and selecting Close.

2. Insert/Picture/from my computer. Browse and select the element you want.

Even if your elements are stored on a cd/dvd you still use the same methods I posted except when you "browse" you just go to the drive your cd/dvd is in.

If you use method 1, you can open multiple elements from the same folder. They will all appear in the stack.

Method 2 puts them straight onto the canvas but they won't appear in the stack.
