I have two questions, if you ladies don't mind.........

Is it worth upgrading to DIP 10from DIP 9? Are there many differences, and what are they?

Also, how do I round off my corners? I thought that there was a rounded corner marquee shape, or even a regular shape, but I can only find one with cut off corners.

I don't know about DIP10, I use 9 and haven't tried 10 yet.

There is a shape that has rounded corners, it just doesn't stretch well. (it's the shape right after the star in DIP9). I think there was a thread about how to get rounded corners, I'll have to look.

Unfortunately there isn't a rounded square in the marqee tool. (A lot of us are very disappointed about it too). To make a picture into a rounded square: Have your picture open. On a new canvas,Insert shape/rounded square. Remove the line. Effects/fill with colour or texture/picture. Double click on the open picture. Done.
