submitting elements

I read the guidelines for submitting elements and know how to do everything except the read_me.txt file. How do I make one and what do I need to include?

Just go to Start/Accessories/WordPad or Notepad and type in your TOU and save.

Redfields plug-ins

Some of the tutorials include downloads from Redfields plug-ins. I downloaded the files from the site, unzipped them to a regular folder. How do I link them up so that they show up in DIP on the effects menu/plugins. I've tried a few things. I must be missing something. I would love to use some different effects but am not having any luck...
Any help would be great.

When you go to Effects/Plugins a window opens up. Click on "Change plugin" and browse to the folder you put Redfields in.

Still not linking, I wonder if something is wrong with the folder. If that's all there is supposed to be to it, I will try downloading it again. Thanks!

This is how I have my plugins sorted:

I made a folder on C drive called Plugins. Within the Plugins folder I make a new folder for each plugin. I then extract the plugins into those folders.

In DIP Options there is a spot to select the default plugin folder. Just select one of the plugins. It doesn't matter which one. Each time you go to Effects/Plugins, the last one you used will show up. To use another one just "Change plugin" and browse to the one you want to use.

Oh, and sometimes after you install the plugin, it creates subfolders. You may need to click on the first subfolder to make the plugin show up.

If I made a Redfields folder and then extracted the zip into there, an extra folder might appear. eg. C:/Plugins/Redfields/Redfields/Jama3D. (black one being the original I made). You would need to select the second Redfields.
It happens with some plugins and not others.

You need to make sure after you have unzipped them that you install them too
