Thank you and a ?

First of all I'd like to say a big thank you for all the wonderful tuts on DIP... wow! You've all made learning DIP 10 a lot of fun. I've only had it for about a month now but am very impressed with the program so far. One thing that I would like to learn though... how do you make letters using background papers? Here's an example.....

Thanks in advance for your help!

Choose your font and size it, then use the "fill with color or texture" option. I'm not on the computer that has DIP on it, but I think it's under Edit or the option right next to Edit. Click on "photo" and select the paper you want it filled with.

No problem! That fill tool works great when you want to fill something with a specific color from another part of a LO. It uses the eyedropper so you don't have to fiddle with finding the RGB code.

LOL.. now I'm going to have to thank you again! I've been having trouble with that and no wonder, since I wasn't doing it right. I guess it takes time to learn all these things and I'm so impatient! You've been a wonderful help... you are earning your halo here I think!

LOL Just wait until you have a more complicated question. Then the real DIP-pros, Kimlizzy and Shelleyrae, will have to jump in! I think I know the basics of DIP, then I read one of their posts and learn something new everytime!!!!
