Taking Glare off of glasses

Hello there!

My daughter took a picture of me, and it was a really good pic except the flash made a glare on my glasses...anyone have any tips on how to get the glare off?

No tips here....but I'm going to be eagerly waiting to see if anybody else has some because this is one of my biggest challenges with photos!

As I understand the problem, there is no information underneath the glare pixels ie. remove the glare, there is nothing there. I think you would actually have to clone in eyes from another photo. Would be good news if I am wrong (and don't lose heart, I frequently am!)

NeverMore is pretty much right but depending on the glare there are a few things you can try.
Try using the dodge and burn brush to reduce the glare.
Clone in the area if possible - you can clone from teh left eye to the right for eg.

To avoid glare in teh first place, there are some good tips here
http://betterphoto.com/ and type eye glasses in teh search box

I had some luck using the clone brush with this photo of DS.

The right side had a HUGE glare on it. I had to zoom in quite a bit and took some work. I'm not really happy with how the eye looks--but I don't think it's really noticable unless I point it out--like I am now. LOL
