Smile Tutorial to DIP

I just ordered DIP 10.0 after buying my first digital camera, a Nikon 4600. I can't wait to get started with this site's tutorials. I am anxious to convert to digital scrapbooking. Are there any books published that work with DIP 10.0 or are ones for 9.0 still applicable? I would appreciated any other information or tips for a newbie to digital scrapbooking. I am working on my husband to buy a new photo printer. I have always used the 12X12 format for paper scrapbooking. We can't afford a wide format printer, any recommendation for a photo printer in the HP line? Thanks for your help!

DIP9 tuts will work for DIP10. There's very little difference.I have a HP 7160 photo printer and I am more than happy with the print quality. It beats my old canon printer by far.

Welcome to the other side! LOL. I too was a paper scrapper who is all digital starting 2005. For cost and ease reasons I changed over to 8 1/2 x 11 size and love being able to print as I create. I have an Epson Photo RX500 All In One and have found I like doing my pages on the premium glossy paper best. I put my pages in a Creative Memories 8 1/2 x 11 album behind page protectors. It is becoming a beautiful album as it grows. I more than recommend any of the DIP tutorials here or a School of scrap class here on DIP (I took one and loved it). Again play, play and play and enjoy your new toys!

I have an hp 7660 which i would recommend in a heart beat though if i had had the money i would have gone for the model up which is the 7960. I work at 8x8 so i can use the square format and print at home . 8x8 albums are pretty easy to get.

Ihave only ever seen one book for DIP and it was pretty much exactly teh same as teh help files. The collection of DIP tutorials on thsi site is teh largest collection on teh web. Start with teh beginners tut for DIP 10 here http://scrapbook-bytes.com/cgi-scrip...icle_167.shtml an dthen work through some of the others marked PROGRAM BASIC. Then move onto teh others for specific techniques and elements. You can use the Printer Friendly link to print the tutorials for your reference.

Dive through this therad to for treasures
And my classes will start teh second week of May so look out for them
