Ribbon, Lace and Such Around Round Objects

Is there a way to strech a straight piece of ribbon, lace, tassel, etc. around a round cut-out like a picture or paper?

TIA

Nope. Short of making the lace/ribbon etc in a round shape to start with you cant do it. The closest thing is the tassel in the Photostroke section of Paint. Or you can make your own Photostroke if you like.

Does your DIP program have a Mesh Warp?.. in PSP there is an option called mesh warp.. I just tried it on a chain and I can move it around but it also deforms it a bit but maybe with some playing around you can get the effect you are looking for.. (but it might be easier to make it yourself.. )

No. No mesh warp in DIP.

Too bad. I was hoping for a different answer. I'll try to do this in PS7 and then import back into DIP10. That would be the long way, but will work I hope.

try this way - you can add your own photo stroke - scroll down to message # 3. You can use this with your edges/photostroke on any shape.

DIP 9 - Texturizer

Holy Cow, Yvette, I just created a new photo brush!!!!!!!! WOW.

I am not completely satisfied with the flow of the new photo brush so I am going to play with this some more. However, the main thing here is that I have CREATED a new brush, something I did not know was possible.
