I just got DIP!
I just got DIP 10 today, any advice as to the best way to get started? Any do's and don'ts? Any advice appreciated. I will be up all night learning this, I am SO excited! I only hope to create to add to the shared downloads for return payment for all the goodies I've taken! Thanks!

DIP is an easy to learn program. You will be up and going before you know it. To start, check out the Tutorials section on this site. Start with the "My first Layout" tutorial by Shelleyrea. If you've got any more questions, just post ahead.

You'll love DIP. Definitely a much easier learning curve than other programs. There's always someone here to help you with any questions you may have.

you're gonna love it! It's so easy to learn. I've had it about a month now and I spend a couple hours each day just playing around with what you can do. Definatly get the free trial version of EyeCandy4000. Only 3 of the filters work with the trial version--but the "glass" effect is awesome. I use it to make eyelets, brads and glass pebbles. It's way cool.

twinmom628, you can use the eye candy plug in and other plug in in DIP? I thought they only worked withPSP? Don't ask me why I thought that.
I also just downloaded the free trial for DIP and have not played around with it yet. If I like it I may go back to Sam's club and get the Suite10. They have the programs there for 48 dollars. Happy scrapping, Linda T.

Versiosn 9 and 10 work with photoshop compatible plugins including EyeCandy

Some of the plugins won't work with DIP but a lot of them do. I'm thinking of hinting to DH that EyeCandy would make THE perfect Mother's Day gift.
