A new challenge, not for the faint of heart!

As my oldest son has entered the dreaded teen years - I'm facing the inevitable 'you don't understand' attitudes!

Why did I think that my children would be different, that they would realize I was a wealth of un-tapped information, when no other teen before them had? I came to the startling realization that not only does he not know much about MY childhood - I really don't know a whole lot about my parents. So that is the basis behind a new challenge! Getting down those tid-bits that show who you were growing up, what helped you become the person you are today.
As I was getting my thoughts together - trying to come up with the right words to talk many of yall into tackeling this challenge with me, I received an e-mail that a former co-worker was killed in a car accident this past weekend, leaving behind 2 teenaged children. I feel even more strongly now, that I need to use my love for scraping to not only document my childrens lives, but mine, my husbands, and our parents as well.
Are you up for the challenge? This is a one week challenge, and of course there will be a small freebie for anyone who posts to the following gallery by Sunday July 16! This weeks theme is
Friends. Who were your friends growing up - what did yall do together, what do you remember most about them, how did you meet, are you still friends?
