I'm doing the ABC challenge. that's something I can keep up with
I decide to do two albums, one for both of my kids.
I'll use lots of different kits but keep the templates pretty much the same.

guess i should check out the abc challenge then.

as for my lo's i really got it a slack now - had to go home from work after i probably have gotten a flu or something. My lunch wouldn't stay down and neither anything i drank or ate yesterday. Stayed home from work today and have been either in the bed or couch doing nothing but sleep and reading.
But got to be well again by tomorrow as we have a company party at night ;D

I've been Doing the ABC challenge with an animal book. It'll be something I can give to my baby and my nieces & nephews. I've been using the internet for the photos, so it doesn't help me in scrapping my stuff. I've done up to E. I plan to take some time off from it because all my pages are beginning to look the same and I don't want 26 almost identical pages!

I've been trying to scan as many pages of my husband's childhood, and scrap as many pages of my childhood and my parents childhoods as I can before the baby is born. unfortunately obligations of church committees and being the President of our Geology club are making me feel like I have a regular job (without the pay of course).

I know what I want to do for the vacation LO. But I haven't found my pictures from my childhood and my mother's there. There's a vacation spot that both of my parents went to frequently as children and then of course I did too. Finding the right CDs to find that photos can be tough. the more organized I get the less I can find!

i thought i'd seen most of our names on the abc los. it's a lot of fun! there are some great ideas, too.

i'm also, trying to do 2 books - one for nate and one just a compilation of birthday celebrations, i'm also trying to use just 1 kit for each book, but i'm thinkin' that i might run out of ways to use the same stuff...so we'll see. it's really fun, and like this cj, it gives you alot of direction when you go to sit down and scrap. that has always been a huge problem for me - the 'where to begin', it seems like i'd pull out so much paper and move pics. around the page for hours...that's one of the things i love about digi...everything is so much faster!

i've got such a headache today - just started my period...so i feel like my insides are coming out...ok - i'm sure all that is just too much information!!! what i'd really like to do is just sit here and chat and scrap...like that's gonna happen!

oh - here's something kinda fun...and impulsive...patrick (dh) and i met while working on the Queen Mary - we were both cast members (employees) of disneyland on loan to the QM for a bout 1 1/2. (also, patrick started working at the QM when he was 17...) so the ship has alot of meaning for us...well, the Queen Mary 2 was launched last year, and we joked (kinda) about the idea of celebrating our 15 wedding aniv. by sailing on her...well i just read that the ship is going to be on the west coast for a quick 3 day cruise before she heads off to hawaii, and it's the same dates that his birthday falls on - SO, guess what - i booked the trip! now, can i keep it a secret until feb...i hope so!

I'm sort of here, been dealing with a sick 2 year old all day. No scrapping for me! I hope to get going as soon as the boys are off to bed. Deann, I love your page for Vigdis' song theme! It's beautiful!

don't you hate it when the children are sick!! i'm SUCH a worry wart...thank god patrick is more level headed! lol! i'm the same way when i get sick, i must have a brain tumor each week and i'm sure that since i'm finally losing weight, it can't be that i've totally changed the way i eat and that i rarely sit down because i'm chasing a 1 year old around and doing everything else under the sun for the other boys, it must be cancer...LOL! what's that all about - i know exactly what...it's being raised by a irish catholic mother and a jewish father - there's a lot of guilt!! LOL!!!

ty for the nice compliment re: vigdis' lo - the last 2 los i've done (hero and song) i used ronna penner's kits - which i LOVE. that vintage, shabby thing - LOVE IT! it's a fine line though to keep it from looking to "over done", but they were really fun to do.
