I'm starting to appreciate it now as I'm starting to look for quotes in my scrapbooking.

i never thought a lot about poetry in school, but i remember in high school keeping a quote journal and song lyrics and poem that meant something to me, but you know what, i don't think that i thought of them as "poems" i thought more of them as words that made me feel a certain way...i don't think that i related to them the same way as i did to the 'school work poems.' kwim?

now i LOVE poems, i love to use them to capture the meaning of a lo...and a lot of time they will inspire my journaling. they're soooo much fun!!

Well, according to my professor it was about the decision of a slave to kill his owner while escaping slavery! While that may be one less travelled path, I find it to be an extreme interpretation!

there are soo many wacks out there!!! lol!! it would be interesting to do a internet search on the 'interpetation of robert frost's poem" and see if there is any validity to that interpetation - wouldn't it be funny if he was right! lol!! when i think of tha poem, i've never come close to that one! lol! (i personally like mary englebrit's illustration of that poem...have you all seen it?) let me go see if i can find a link somewhere...i'll be right back

LOL - Desi would - he puts up with almost anything - the other day Liam put on one of his baby baseball hats on him and he walked around with it for almost an hour! LOL Now if I could just find some red boots!

I'm thinking Nursery Rhymes/childrens poems would be a cool theme. but I think I have a little while to decide, although maybe not - we tend to scrap in spurts. With one person doing quite a few in a day. Hey do you think we could get our cats to wear goloshes for a puss in boots image?!? heheheh

for the robert frost poem - I have the image in my head of a dirt path in a field going into a well maintained path to civilization and a thin path like following a deer path into the untamed bush. It's so vivid that it's probably a painting that I've seen, but not sure.

I don't think my cats would put up with their picture being taken in boots. They might deal with boots or a boot, but they tend not to allow their pictures to be taken for long.

After I miscarried last year, I felt like I'd never smile again. My husband got a onesie out and put it on one of our cats. the poor cat kept attacking the neck trying to get it off, until I started laughing at him. Then he just layed down and rolled around with his belly up. His face said, as long as you're paying attention to me and happy; I'll deal with this. But we couldn't get a picture that would show it since it was a white onesie on a white cat.

One more to go and i am done - here is my first page for my cj:
http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...3096&cat=10259

it's saturday morning 7:27 am - and here i am sitting in the living room all by myself. The kids and hubby + 2 extra kids on sleepover with DD are all still sleeping. And here i am awake and have been for the last hour..... the the past two months i have been up before the kids even are awake in the weekends when i finally could sleep in. Grrrr - i need those extra hours - but my body do not like that. Especially now with the bad cold i have got - 2 nights last week i had to sleep in the couch with my hed on the armrest to be able to sleep at all. Now i hope this is gone during the weekend....
