Hi everybody..
I'm having a wonderful tome with my parents here. Made a beautiful jacket and 3 new shirts for my DH and helped mom with some shirts for my brothers as well. We'll be busy with some christmas present sewing that we have to do. My christmas shopping is pretty much done except for one thing...my digital camera. I wanted to buy the kodack Z740 but after doing extensive researce we found out that the kodak had a plastic lens and was very cheaply made!!
So now we went to a panasonic LZ2 (5 megapixles with 6 optical zoom). We were going to buy it in Lethbridge alberta but after doing some research on the net we found that we could get them cheaper if we ordered it straight from the panasonic website. We ended up paying $125 less than what it would have cost here in Canada. Though I have to wait for another 2 weeks till I get it. Thanks to my dad for helping me out with that. Oh and this one might not have the 10x optic zoom that the kodak has, but it has something that is more important..and image stabalizer that helps you take clear, non-blurred pics. Couldn't quite afford the $$$$ for the really expensive type of camera but this one has a great user review and I've talked to one of my dad's friends that has one and he was saying that he took pics at 80mph and they were crystal clear.
All in all I'm ready for christmas. My DH is a weather nut so for christmas I got him a fancy weather station. He's going to love it I know.
My parents will be here for another 3 weeks so I might be MIA.

I'm SOOO proud of myself!!!

Okay, so today in the car, Jake and I were talking about candies we remember from when we were kids, and little games we used to play... So, I had a brainstorm! I'm doing a "retro" stocking for him! I found ALL the candies and little games that we were talking about online, and bought them to fill his stocking! I'm going to fill his stocking for less than $15, and it's going to mean a heck of a lot more to him than the gift under the tree! :lol I'm so proud of myself, and can't WAIT to see the look on his face when he sees the stuff in his stocking!!!! :woohoo There isn't a smilie for how excited I am! :howl I wasn't really "in the spirit", but NOW I am, that's for sure! :lol

Kristi!!! I got your downloads and then forgot to do them til today, and they are expired!!! Is there any way I could get your again. (you can zip them all in one if it is easier) I am so sorry! I just missed the boat on that one.

Hope you are all enjoying getting ready for the Holiday's. I feel pretty relaxed so far about preparation since we are not traveling this year and I am soooooooo happy about that. There is a light parade this Sat. so I am looking forward to that.

Hi Scrappy Chicks,
I need some help, I finished all of my pages a few weeks ago and I need to send them out. Can someone pm me the rules for mailing them out and a list of everyone's email addy's. I had this info on my crashed computer and I can not get it back.

Just sending my last pages. I figured out that it's easier to send them first to yourself then forward that e-mail to the rest of the group. Saves you alot of time as well as having to send your file twice when you don't get all the addresses in.
I'm hoping to get the color one printed sometime soon.
I'm having a wonderful time with my parents here but that is coming to an end as well. Just 5 more days left to enjoy their visit. One of my brothers and one sister are coming for a visit today. They're going to be taking mom and dad home when they go home.
Other than that I've been working on some christmas cards and birthday cards. Both mom and dad celebrated their b-day here and my DH has one in about 10 days.
