Ok, I'm thinking I want to do flowers/nature and color book. I'll get my info typed up ASAP - I've been so distracted and I've been the worlds worst emailer in the last month. :-) I'm thinking I'd like the pages to have pictures of flowers or nature with a color them to it..for example maybe a red page and flowers or different things in nature that would have shades of red. I want to be able to share the book with my kids so we can talk about the different pictures and the colors at the same time. :-) Sound too hard?

I'm looking forward to these journals! This will be fun - I'm loving all the topics you all have posted so far.

Sarah, I don't think that sounds too hard... it sounds like a very creative idea!

Kristi, I like both ideas. The difficulty for me with the Grandma's kitchen idea is that I never knew any of my grandparents; I was a late in life baby. I could adapt it, though, by using my husband's parents, since they are my kids' grandparents. My MIL is a great cook!

Hey...I think we need a blinkie for our CJ! I don't know how to make them or load them though. I had saved that one ScrapBook Bytes one that was given out for free in the forums, but I was never able to load it in my signature for some reason...it said something about my signature being too long - I don't know..will have to play more. Anyway..I'd love to learn how to make one, how to load it, and I'd love to have one for our CJ! Thoughts???

I am doing a color theme, any color but a page that really highlights or captures the mood of a color. I will have the basic instructions in my folder. Kristi have you decided yet on your topic? Really either one would be great!

I am going to start work on my first page. If anyone has any questions about the folders let me know....

Okay...since I started a "travel" album with my other circle journal (that sorta went into neutral) I'll go with recipes. I'll get my stuff into a folder and on to you Melissa!

I'll quit dragging my heels. lol

I think a blinkie is a great idea, Sarah, but I haven't had the energy to learn how to make them yet. I tried once, and it seemed so incredibly time consuming that I gave up! Sorry I can't help... anyone else wanna give it a shot?

Wink

Okay, so I'm posting two layouts for start of my Circle Journal. My theme is called "Funny Face, I Love You". And I'm asking that it be in black/white/red. Choose a funny face or simply adorable face of any loved one (prefer children). Use the photo in black and white. Add a quote or poem or inspiration to maybe go with the photo. Thanks guys. This is fun. I'll start thinking on these other layouts while I wait for the formal instructions. : )
