I guess sizes are coming out in the spreadsheet, but for me I'm planning to use MyPublisher for printing so I can get it properly bound as a book, which means 11" wide by 8.5" high plus not putting anything vital near the edges as they tend to crop off 1/8" to 1/4".

* If possible can you use a font that doesn't have the loopy bits on the lowercase "a" and "g" that you only get in printing (I'm sure there's a technical term for that)?

Leah,
Can you find a font on-line somewhere so we can go look to see what typeface you want? Post the URL here!

I don't have a particular type face in mind, what I mean is:

if that makes any sense...

Obviously if what you're typing doesn't include any a or g characters then it doesn't matter...

Hi everyone!

Wow look slike everyone is starting their journals already. When are we getting the spreadsheet with everyone's information and guidleines? I would love to get started since I am working on my title page and sign in sheet.

Leah: On your ABC book, are we doing one picture only per letter or do you want us to find numerous objects for one letter. just wonerding.

Thanks and looking forward to our journaling.

Corinne

PS. Did we figure out our Circle Journal name yet?

Corinne,

What I said to BonnyJean is to try to have one main object (the one in your "Aa is for apple" text) but that if you want to have others worked into the background of the LO then that's good too.

I guess that we need to get an order and timescale for doing these, plus did anyone else have any special instructions?

ok, I was waiting on a couple more bits of info, and I've got most of it. I just don't know what size or shape jo-gurl wants. I'm sending out the email right now! I don't have Leah's special instructions on there, because they are here (I cut and paste the whole thing a couple posts back) and lengthy. I think we should start a new thread when we have a name (how about Bytin Divas instead of Digi Divas?) hehe ok, joking, any real suggestions? I need to go back and look at the ones that were posted before.

so, good check your emails and post some name suggestions and more letters and items for Leah to approve!! And Jo-gurl, can I get your first name and your page size please? thanks!!

Did we ever do an introduction?
Here's me:
My name is Kate, I'm 45 years young and I live in Jamestown, NY, which is about 60 miles southwest of Buffalo. I'm married to Alan and have a 13 year old daughter named Kyla. I work for the local county government weighing garbage trucks at their landfill. My official title is "Weighmaster"!! LOL! I used to be a Senior Project Coordinator at the Highway Department, but I injured my elbow on the job and when I was returned to work on light duty, this was the only job they had open. It was the best thing that could've happened to me too... There's no stress, I get to talk to people all day, yet I get to be alone out here in the scalehouse without catty co-workers and supervisors breathing down my neck. I wear jeans and t-shirts instead of nylons and skirts. Sure, it's dirty and it stinks, but I love it!
At home I have 3 dogs. Shelby, a dalmatian; Louise, a lab/springer spaniel mix; and Ginger, a jack russell/staffordshire terrier mix. I bring Ginger to work with me usually. The truck drivers just love her and she keeps me company between trucks. We also have an english parakeet named Spanky.
Besides digiscrapping, I like to do beadwork and I have a side business making rosary beads and beaded christmas ornaments. I am a photographer and have won many awards for my work. I have my own website http://www.katehillphotography.com and I'm also doing a website for a friend of mine who's running for district attorney http://www.kenlasker.com . When I'm not sitting on my butt doing my crafts, I'm usually at the ice rink. I'm a goaltender for the Jamestown Lady Lightning women's hockey team and I also play on a mostly mens shinny hockey team in the winter and play mixed all-ages shinny hockey in the summer. My daughter plays on this team with me in the summer. I'm planning on joining a women's team out of Niagara Falls this autumn as back-up goalie. I also like to write. I've written 5 novels and a few short stories, but I'm too lazy to try to get them published. Someday ... LOL! Oh, I like to draw too
I grew up in Northern New Jersey (30 miles from NYC), moved to Hartford, Connecticut when I was 20, then to Erie, Pennsylvania when I was 24 and then to Jamestown when I was 30. My favorite places are Cape Cod and southwestern New Hampshire and southeastern Vermont along the Connecticut River and the Berkshire hills in western Massachusetts. I also love spending time in southern Ontario along the Lake Erie shoreline and in Northern Ontario near Lake Nipissing and Marten River. Montreal is my most favorite city in the world.
I use Lumapix FotoFusion for a digiscrapping. Lumapix is going to be at a trade show in Ottawa, Ontario and they are going to be using 3 of my pages as samples of what FotoFusion users can do with the program. I think that's awesome! Of course, I don't get paid or anything, but I'm trying to wrangle a free upgrade to their Pro version... can't fault me for trying! I tried some of the other programs, but they weren't very beginner friendly and I got frustrated quickly. Lumapix is easy to learn. My 13-year old makes some nice layouts too and I only gave her a quick overview.
Whew! I can't believe I wrote all that! If you're still reading, my apologies for being so long winded! I hope to get to know all you really soon!
Kate
