Guys! Finally I was able to upload my sample page... forgive me, everyone, for taking so long. I have a confession to make: elegant is not me. I had big trouble with my own requirement, can you believe that?
And please if you don't have the parisienne kit, don't be tied down to it. Feel free to do what you want and fly!!! (Parisienne was just a suggestion...)

As you can see from what I've done so far, I don't do elegant well either, but jo-gurl did a lovely job! I hope I can do as well. I guess I'm not a "typical" scrapper. I go for the REALLY bright colors and bold graphics. This CJ will give me some practice scrapping outside my box. Alas "what I like about being a girl" is going to give me fits as I've never been a typical "girl". I have a guys job, work with truck drivers, play goaltender on a men's ice hockey team, ride a motorcycle and don't wear makeup! But I have something in mind!!! Granted, it won't be mushy, sweet and flowery though!!! hahahaha!! As my dad always says, "takes all kinds to make the world go 'round!"

Nope, we're girls ... now matter how old! I also play on a "girls'" hockey team. It consists of "girls" from 20 years old to almost 50 (one is a gramma!). I also play co-ed shinny hockey in the summer. Our youngest is an 8 year old boy (his dad plays too) and the oldest is a 59-year old guy. We also have a few young teen girls (my daughter is 13) and a few young teen boys who play as well and believe me, no one gives this old lady goaltender any slack!!!!!

OK, I've done my LO for Jo:

Motherhood

I had wanted to use the same quote Jo ended up using for her own LO (great minds think alike!) so needed a rapid rethink. The Parisienne kit was the one Rina created at the wrong size for 12x12 -- I tried to work it so that it would still produce a good printout at that size but eventually gave up and went for Tandika's Lady In Red kit that I impulse bought but haven't found the right page for until now. I hope it has the right look and feel!

If anyone wants the full-res version, it's available here for seven days or a limited number of downloads. It does come in at 6-and-a-bit MB, though...

I've posted my LO for Melodi. Hope it is 'inspiring'.
I used colors in the photo, hope they are ok.
