I would love to try this. I have the photos and can animate them..but how do you out them in the layout and save for web without it flattening it?

I am working in PSE4.

I tried to look at the tutorial someone put in here, but it wont run on my pc..think it's the swf setting - and i have no idea how to allow that.

I would love to hear from anyone who has done it in pse..

Do we have to do it with just one image as she has? Or can the layout be sliced and diced into an HTML file for web optimization?

Sharyn, a learner here too! If you find out let me know. I did a banner annimation once, I did it in Image ready, have you got one? LokiZ, I am not quite sure as to what sliced and diced is, but if you can upload it to the site in the HTML format, then I am sure you can, I think Karen used a gif, but there is no condition on using it if there is another way!

Thanks olga, I will work on a version for you all to try out tonight after work. With html it could be really fun as one could not just animate but add user interaction (ie. only animate certain areas if and when the mouse is at certain locations or clicking a certain object on the layout.)

I am not sure if it will work to upload to Bytes as Html is not as much a file fomart but a group of files working together. I'll look into it.

Ok 1st attempt at what is pretty much a simple yet hopefully moving animated LO. Comes from the heart as I am a Foster Parent and some times it hurts to see what some of the foster children go through. They Truly do need love as does any child.

Anyway enough babbling. To view the layout in it's animated state go Here:

http://www.lokiz.com/fosters/

To leave comments about it you can go here:
http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...0549&nocache=1

If you wish to read the entire background from the LO (some of it is covered up) See below:

Nothing Breaks My Heart More Then A Foster Without Love. To Go Through Life Without Permanent Family And Wonder If You Are Really Loved Or Not. It Makes Me Feel Very Sad Inside. That Is Why You Can Rest Assured That The Foster Kids In My House Are Indeed Loved. The Only Thing We Do Not Love Is When The Time Comes For Them To Leave Us. Then We Are Sad. Each Foster Has Something Positive To Bring To Our Household, And We Can Only Hope That We In Turn Have Something Positive To Share With Them In Return. The Foster Needs Love, And In Many Cases May Need More Love. Through No Fault Of Their Own Life Has Dealt Them A Fragile Hand, A Hand They Far Too Often Play Alone. It Is So Hard To Understand Why Cruel Things Like This Happen, Ours Is Only To Do What We Can To Help Them In Their Time Of Need. Please Share Your Prayers As It Does Help More Then You Can Know. Fosters Need Love And Fosters Need To Share Their Love. They Are Wonderful Children When Given The Chance To Overcome What Has Been Placed Upon Their Plate. God Does Have A Plan For Them. And We Are Thankful That His Plan For Us Has Been To Be Blessed By Their Presence If Only For A Short Time. We’re Glad That Fosters Need Love. We Love Them Very Much.

Thanks

I have been able to animate the layers..just like a blinkie. But if i put it in a layout and save for wen it flattens. If I use the background in the blinkie then it blinks too.

So I shall have to keep playing.

cheers
