This one looks like fun and the animation may be something I'll need to do some googling for! fun stuff!

I was just going to say the same thing! I have been invisioning this for months, just have no idea how to go about it. Can you create entire layouts using a program such as Fireworks? Or do you create an animated gif and then drag it into Photoshop? No clue. I'm also invisioning layouts with changing photos, like a frame in the layout that has various photos that it rotates through, KWIM?

Love your layouts Karen, you must share your secrets!

I haven't done an LO since the Japanese and the home or something that reminds you of home challenge (a long time). Got really swamped at work and just not motivated to go back on Photoshop at home. Anyways, not a big animated gif fan but this is a good example of using animation. I do web work and just hate animated gifs. If you want to animate, just use Flash... that's my thought.

Anyways, haven't tried this but I think it's a photoshop and image ready function. You put your photos in different layers and then jump them over to IR. Your animation doesn't have to be pictures. If you don't have photos in sequence you can use a flower or button and on each layer make sure they are in different positions. Think of yourself making a cartoon... sequence by sequence. The IR part is the one I'm not so sure about... I think it's like movie making time in iMovie, Premiere, etc., you create the timeline each layer at a time and bla bla.. the last part came out of my butt, it might not be off but if I have time tomorrow I'll make a video tutorial. Well, after I figure it out of course

PSE... doesnt' that come with IR too? If yes, you should.

I have made one to use as a signature but not animating the pic, i animated the layout coming together ...um sorta...and yes it is exactly how Savitri said in photoshop, you can manage the animation by clicking on "view" i think it is, and "animations" then when you have it how you want it, move it to image ready and save as optimized with an adaptive color setting i think it is ...
i am so psyched to try one by cutting out the actualy person though karen you rock!
