never done hybrid, I need help!

I want to do a small album for my Grandmother for Christmas. I was looking for photo albums at the store, but none are small enough. So I thought I could make my own, like those chipboard albums that I see all the time, except in the standard square format. What materials do I use? Do I just glue my images on cardstock? I have never even paper scrapped, so I am completely at sea here. Any help is much appreciated! Thank you so much

Hi! What size are you looking to do? All of the digital products can be resized maintaining the correct proportions to almost any smaller size that you need.
You can't take a square one and make it a rectangle!

I scrap in a square, and I am going to size it down for this album... she doesn't have much room. I thought I could glue my printed page on a chipboard album, but I don't even know what those are, I've just heard the word so many times! lol. Or a bracket, I thought I could glue down a bg on it, size my page down to fit... But again, I just don't know what materials I need to use to make it sturdy enough. Do I need special glue? Do they sell albums already made at craft stores that you embellish?

the chipboard drink coasters from chili's...outback...etc. are awesome - just cover with adhesive and adhere your printed layout, punch a hole and tie with ribbon for an easy mini album!

Do you have a craft store nearby? They often sell chipboard albums. I just bought a really cool acrylic album--I just use adhesive to glue down my papers/photos. You may be able to buy an album online

Thanks! And that's all there is to it, uh? I'll try to get to Michael's tomorrow during our grocery shop. I live out of town, and it's difficult to go pleasure shopping with the kids, so I don't get out much, lol.

I have a couple of chipboard albums with plans to actually use them LOL -
You can get all sorts of sizes. If you are going to adhere the pages with glue make sure you get a proper paper craft glue so that the pages don't wrinkle etc when you adhere them

Shelleyrae is correct glue is important. I recomend modge podged... and Michales should have it. You will also need a foam brush to spread it around. It also never hurts to aske the somone at michlast if they have a finished chipboard album that you could look at to get ideas. This link will take you to a toutorial done on a hybrid chipboard album
Scallop album
Hope this helps
