Thank You card using Rhonna Farrer's.........

Farrer's "April Free {pea} kit" called "Flowers are Beautiful". You can get this digital kit from Two Peas in a Bucket.

My inspiration came from a card at Paper Crafts magazine online:

Paper Crafts magazine crafting projects - cards tags gifts

I used the swirls file from Rhonna's kit, but I erased the flowers and instead used a flower file by gibson_girl5 at the Yahoo Pazzles Inspiration Group so that I could cut the flowers with my Pazzles. After I cut the flowers I used my embossing stylus to "sculpt" them, spray painted them with "FolkArt Pearlcote Pearl Glaze" by Plaid and lastly spayed them again with DecoArt "Triple Thick Glass Glaze" diamon clear finish. I used circles that I cut out of my pink CS (color code# db535d) that I made in Photoshop CS3, then applied VersaMark and "Sparke Gold (#657) Pearl Ex. I also used "Crystal" Sickles on the Swirls. For the border I used my Martha Stewart "Doily Lace" border punch. This card, using traditional paper crafting techniques as well as digital files, would definitly be considered a "hybird card".

This card was quite easy to make and I love all of Rhonna's digital designs!!!

Pam
