Crop-a-Dile - how do you use it to punch CDs!

anyone know what settings need to be used to punch through actual CDs to make a CD album?

This tool came HIGHLY recommened per Becki but for the life of me cannot get a complete punch through the CD? Do you have to use an eyelet with it to get it through? And if so what setting... Laurie and I gave it a whirl with an eyelet yesterday too and it just flattened it on to fo the cd and never actually punched through it.

hmmmmmmm good question... I have not yet tried it on a cd... Though we punch tin all the time at work.. I work tomorrow and I can play with it then and let you know... late Saturday or Sunday... If my scrapbook designer works today I can call and ask her but I dont think that she does... I will have to get back to you on that.

One question you are punching the hole before you try and set the eyelet right?

I found this video that shows someone making a cd album using the crop-d-dile.
CD Album
Just a thought make sure you read the back of your packaging and save the chart that tells you how to set your diles... wr memory keepers was very specific with this product that if you do not follow the instructions and the tool breaks they will not honor the warranty.

Sounds like you are using the wrong part of the tool - there are two hole "punchers" on each SIDE of it, the main front part is just for crimping the eyelet. The two hole punches are different sizes, one is bigger - one smaller. HTH!

Wow~! Thanks for sharing the video Jess. I've been wanting to make one of these for awhile now, and it looks really easy.
