Thought I'd post a mini-tutorial on this photo box after being asked how it was made:
Supplies include a round paper mache box,
Pushing Up Daisies Collab Kit, flowers, buttons and ribbon.
I measured the top lid of the box and found the circle to be 4.5" in diameter so I made a 4.5" circle in my photo-editing program and digitally filled it with elements from the Pushing Up Daisies Kit (paper, round stitches, framed photo and flower element in the corner of the photo). I knew I wanted to add some "real" paper flowers to the box lid so I left room in the corner for that. I printed out the circle, cut it out and adhered it to the top of the lid.
Next I measured the sides of the lid and sides of the bottom of the box. I printed out strips of pattern paper to wrap around these areas, like this:
I wrapped & adhered the paper around the sides of box lid and bottom, put the lid on the box and then added the traditional embellishments: three coordinating paper flowers, three green buttons in the center of flowers and a bit of ribbon on the center flower....And that's about it! If anyone had any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!!!
