Do you have a craft store like Michael's, JoAnn or Hobby Lobby nearby? They have stuff like that...Target might have something, too. Sounds like a fun activity!

One really fun aspect of hybrid is recycling stuff you have, lunch sacks for paper bag albums, altoids tins, jelly jars, old CDs, old board books, etc. I got a few board books at my local dollar store for a fraction of the price of bare chipboard ones.

If you are going to your local craft store, one thing good thing to stock up on is adhesives And as I've told you previously, I love my Crop a Dile LOL

I organized my hybrid stuff into an album today if you would like to take a peek at what I have been up to:

Can't wait to see what you come up with Amy!

Adhesives you might like:
Terrfically tacky tape (great for candles, pencils and pens)
Xyron anything
Spray adhesives for large items like gift boxes
Foam dots or squares

I used one piece of card stock, a sheet of photo paper (matte photo paper is fantastic, it feels like heavy computer paper but prints fantasticly and you don't have to wait for it to dry like glossy photo paper. Walmart carries some, as well as Staples etc.) And for a small project like this you could just use an adhesive runner or photo squares, both fairly inexpensive, and can be found at Wally. Oh and buy a box of altoids too for the tin :O)

Amy.. it wasn't that long ago that you got rid of all your paper stuff was it?
Luckily I kept all of mine thinking the girls would use it all.
No craft stores here, so I also hit Michaels before Christmas to get blank board books to play with.

actually what is so funny about that is that I didnt' ever end up having the yard sale and it's all in the bottom of my closet. I don't have little tins and that kind of thing though.
