Unhappy Help - Im scared!

So now I have all this Maya Road stuff (mainly) -some small ring binder albums, tag books, tab books (all blank chipboard type stuff) all bought half price but Im too afraid to start!
I just cant decide on a theme for a project - too many possibilities!
When I print and put in an album not a big deal but making specifically for these projects - Im stuck! So help - any suggestions?

Never thought I'd hear this from you SR. But I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who faces this. No suggestions but I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Sounds like they would make great little gift albums for someone who had upcomming travels or some kind of special event - I've seen other make a pretty, but 'blank' album with no photos to give as a gift pre-travels. Then the receiver can put in photos they take when they are back home again!

I'm the same way too. I'll do anything on the computer but give me scissors and glue...ugh!!! It is easier once you get started. I say start small or easy and get your feet wet. Can't wait to see what you make.

I was the same way when I got a coupon for a free Shutterfly book. I drew a blank. I would take your top ideas or themes and put them in a hat. Vow to stick with whichever one you draw.

I am working on a hertiage album...actually two...one for each of my kids. I am doing it hybrid....I bought two leather albums from Costco years back. Now, that I've started, I'm having fun, but 96 sheets of Bazzils cardstock and patterned paper later....and I'm still running short!!! (oh, the smart choice of digital!!) I basically stuck to three colors with one shade of cardstock & 2 coordinating patterned papers. Added my photos, then embellished with a few strips of ribbon, and cut out flowers I made from the patterned paper (*digi made). I couldn't find rub on flourishes, so I printed them out on transparencies and cut them out, adhering with a brad here & there. I used the same tabs, tags & journalling paper throughout...digi, so I could print my journaling and cut the whole thing out. I printed photos/ journalling mostly on white cardstock, finding that the B&W photos printed better. The colored photos I printed on photo paper. Here are a few pages.... because I did them all digi first!!! I just can't take the chance of spoiling a single sheet of the papers I bought!!

Raylene - they are all the same link lol

I decided to tackle a basic project first - I have the actual bits printed - just need to adhere them. Im making a door hanging for the kids rooms -
What Im using is like a wood panel thing by Kaiser Craft

My two girls share a room and the two boys share a room - so Im going to do one each.
This is what the front looks like - Im going to put photos on the inside part

Thought Id try the Xyron to attach rather than glue
