Role Call: Hybrid Scrapbookers

So since I've become really involved with Hybrid Scrapbooking I'd love to know just how many of our talented SBB members also create projects and pages Hybrid? (a.k.a. fusion scrapping, tradigi, bi-scraptual scrapping, )

SO I'M CALLING YOU OUT!

Tell me what you like and dislike about hybrid! I'd like to know!

I've just started doing some hybrid projects and really loving them. I do the majority of the work digi and then print, paste and maybe embellish a bit. I like holding things in my hands just like printing out layouts. The majority of them have been things for the kids or gifts but I've also done calendars.

I don't know what I don't like since it's all new but I'll be sure to let you know if I come up with anything.

I love hybrid projects because I still love paper scrapping. I am working on a Disneyland Vacation album right now with both all-paper, all-digi and hybrid pages in it. I love combining paper accents with digitally enhanced pages!

I love hybrid! I started out with paper and have now gone mostly digital. But every now and then I still do a paper layout or mini-album. And most of my digital mini-albums are hybrid; after printing the pages I'll put the album together using 'paper' supplies and extra embellies. I'm also a sucker for altered notebooks, boxes, desk-organisers etc.

Hmm, I had never heard of hybrid scrapping until now! This is something I think I will try for Christmas this year, since I was already planning on making digital calendars. Thanks for pointing this out to me!

I'm doing a double layout for my DMIL, using first the digital images, then printing them out. I've come to the hands-on part, but since we moved just recently, I've not finished the project. Boxes are still everywhere, and when I get home from work, I am just too tired. But I do want to get back to it, asap! Thanks for this thread - it's reminding me to get back to it!
As far as what I do or don't like, I find digital scrapping SO much easier! If I don't already have what I need, I just create it with Photoshop. But with the 'real' elements, I find myself racking my brains so much more for what to use, the colours I need, etc. So, it's a matter of finding one easier than another, I guess, instead of what I like or dislike about either.
Again ~ Thanks for this!
