I don't like running out of ink either. But I do love being able to print everything right on the spot rather than having to take it to a photo center.

I have the Epson R1800, the HP B9180 and the HP B8300. I'm doing a review and comparing the 2 pigment based printers (HP VS Epson and the the other HP (the B8300) is a Dye Based printer. I'm going to compare how the two types of printers inks react to different things like water, light, plastic, embellishments, etc.

I was using a Canon iPP6600d but i couldn't get good prints from it. I'm not sure if I just didn't have the proper paper, etc. Anyone use that one before?

With the industry moving in such a manner I think it would be a great idea Amy!

I love the digital provided here at SBB and I KNOW that new comers to hybrid scrapbooking are often traditional people looking to start digital. Scrapbook-Bytes would be a great starting point for them!
It is the site I recommend to anyone that takes my hybrid (and of course my digital) classes hehehe. If we build a spot for them to speak about hybrid I'm sure it will help!

I always have to laugh a bit at this word hybrid because those of us who did altered art just sort of incorporated our digital designes into our work. I've been using digital stuff on my projects for several years now. When I first started I used other peoples stuff as there weren't many digital designers out there and then when I started designing I started printing off my own designs to use in my work. Now all I have to do is find time to clean up my disaster of a work room x 2 so that I can find my desk and play!!
