I have heard a few people say that they got the Epson 2200 and had an HP regular format hooked up and that the Epson would not work unless they un-installed the HP. One person returned the 2200 and got a Canon i9900 and I guess it worked fine. Does anyone have any further feedback on this topic. I have a PC running xp and using usb2 for the printer. I want to buy a wide format printer but am gun shy of the 2200 after seeing these reviews. I need my HP for kid printing, scan, and fax so I can't un-install it. Maybe the Canon is the way to go.
Any suggestions?

I have the Canon i9900 hooked up along with a battered old all in one Lexmark and both work just fine.

I have the Canon i9900 and an HP Photosmart 7350 - both work great.

I have an Epson 2200 and an HP Deskjet 952C and they both work fine. I am not sure what problems others have had, but I use both constantly.
