Any tablet/PSP users out there? help!

So, I got a Wacom Graphire for Christmas I was kinda scared after reading the tread about how hard it is to get used to.... but I seem to be picking it up pretty easily, and so far I really like it.

One of the reasons I was excited for it, though, was to be able to play around with the pressure sensitivity feature... but I can't seem to get it to work with PSP Please don't tell me that PSP isn't compatible with this feature! I do use Photoshop, but only rarely and definately not to its full advantage. I'm so comfortable with PSP, I just can't bring myself to really learn PS as well, kwim?

I'm hoping I'm just missing a setting somewhere that someone can point me to!

Hi Angie,

If you look in the start menu for your Tablet there should be a Pen Tablet properties option, click on that and it will bring up a screen which enables you to alter the different features like sensitivity etc.

I've had a Graphire and PSP for some time now and only recently started using it more - some days I prefer my mouse others the pen! I recently bought a super duper home entertainment centre computer, so I've no excuses now!!

Hope this Helps,
Jules

If you open PSP go to File > Preferences>General Preferences>Miscellaneous Preferences there is a box for Disable pressure support for puck type devices - uncheck this if it is checked to allow the sensivitity feature.

Thank you!

I hadn't messed around with my preferences since installing the program, and I'd totally forgotten that was even an option! I did a quick help search and discovered the brush variance palette, which I hadn't been using before... between the two, I'm having a blast figuring out the fun stuff I can do with this thing

I have a tablet and also use PSP and I absolutely love it! I have not used it to its full advantage lately but am starting to create more elements again and love it for that purpose.
