Question I Can't believe I'm asking this....

BUT...I am trying to print an 8x8 LO and when I pop it into the printer (HP photosmart 7960), it won't recognize that the actual paper is 8x8. It keeps treating it as if it is 8.5x11. The print box says it is 8x8, but when I hit the print button, it proves otherwise. Any ideas?

Great question, Aimee...I'd like to know that too! My only suggestion would be to print on the 8.5x11 and cut to the 8x8 size with a paper cutter...that's what I do. Anybody out there have the info on how we can work with an 8x8 size paper on this printer??

It automatically assumes the paper is a standard size. I have the 7690 which is the model before it - see if this will work.
Go to print and then Printer Properties/Preferences (depending on what program you are working from)
Go to where it says custom under Size: and click - type in 8x8 and hit save
Now open the Size drop down menu and choose Custom 1. You should then see the changes reflected - see the attached screen shots.
