I just got my first Shutterfly book yesterday, too. They are very nice. Your book looks awesome!

questions about these books

I just saw information about this, Jen Wilson is selling a kit with 30% off a shutterfly scrapbook order. I am wondering if this would be more cost effective and space saving than regular scrapbooks. The only problem is I really like to have my pages printed right then and I have several scrapbooks already bought.
So have people found that the books are worth the wait (not being able to print immediately) and cost effective? Are the colors close to what you are expecting and are the prints supposed to last for years?
I am really interested in knowing more.

Reelynn I can not answer all your questions but I can give you my own experience about this offcourse.
I ordered my shutterfly last thursday the 4th of may. I live in the Netherlands, I received my shutterfly the 10th of may. It took 'only' 6 days to arrive.
I also ordered another book at a service in the Netherlands the SAME day, it hasn't arrived yet.
The colors are very very pretty, almost like my screen, the skincolor of the persons is also very pretty, and you would say 'just' right.
If it is cost effective is something you should decide for yourself, if you've never tried shutterfly you can sign up as a new member, most of the times you receive an offer for some free prints, so you can see the service yourself before deciding on a book. But to me it is worth it for sure, I would make another 1 in a heartbeat!

Hey, that book is gorgeous! Tell me, does each SIDE of a page constitute a "page"? If so, Shutterfly's book seems to be a very good value, too!

Each side of a page counts as a page that is true, I dont know if thevalue is high or low for you americans, but to us dutchies the price is fairly cheap even with the shipping costs, simply because all sites that offer squared albums here are not really squared only the outside and the pages are still rectangulair....
