HP or Epson based on quality.
If each color of ink cartridge can be replaced as it empties, that model of printer is preferred as it will save you money in the long run.

I love my Epsonstylus 1280 Photo Printer--love the quality of the printouts. I don't know anything about the HP 12x12 printers, but I was happy with the HP standard-sized printer I had before the Epson. Have fun shopping around for your new printer!

thanx lavendar. Well I'm not very satisfied with epson so far... have't tried photo series yet...
I was definetely for seperate ink cartridges. My wonder is which model exactly prints 12x12 papers? I can't understand from the co sites (I don't even know if the Cos are shipping printers 12x12 in my country... said before, I think, that here in Greece this is not a popular hobby...)
Just looked for Epson Stylus Photo 1280. Is discontinued!!!! Franham thank you 2! This worths as I see but is a little pricey.... Thank you all! I'm keep looking!

I totally recommend Canon printers.. You avoid all clog issues and the print speed are vastly superior to epson. I would avoid HP at all costs...

So.. I would look at the Canon 9900.. you should be able to get a great deal on these (I've found one for $300!). If you want the latest and greatest home printer, then the Pro 9000 is the way to go.. about $450 though.

I *heart* my canon... great quality... I used to work with the other brands- always had wacky problems.
