Question Recommend a scanner

I was just wondering about scanners?? Can anyone suggest one that is high quality for scanning photos and other things for digi-scrapping?

I was at JOANN's the other day and they were selling a canon scanner for $25.00, I didnt think they were that cheap..............

I would be a little nervous about a $25 scanner. I use an Epson Perfection and can highly recommend any of the Epson Perfection line. Good quality and good software.

I had a canon scanner and absolutely loved it...bought it years ago...I now have an epson all in one and it just isn't as good...which to me is weird...

Oh this question is so timely as my scanner has started to leave voids when it scans.... this time around i also want to be able to scan negatives..... come on with the suggestions hehe
