My scratch disk is set in my preferences to be on my "D" drive. All I have to do is open my D drive in Windows Explorer, and I can see the temp files listed.

oh oh then I am in trouble also, twice today I tried to run Disk Cleanup and both times when I came back my computer was shut down!
One time the startup error again said CPU overheated!!
My new cooling system had better come in quickly!!

all good advice.. sorry - been away! Agree with the windows defrag isn't the best comment... all it does is basically take blocks of data and make them contiguous someplace on the hard drive.. a nice first step but the better defraggers go a few steps further.

The one I use allows you to move recently accessed files/folder to the outer rim of the disk - where access will be much faster. In addition, the program also moves all directories together - allowing super fast display in programs like photoshop that searches for directories to display.

Anyway.. glad it wSA
