Hi Julie, yes you can print at home on your own printer if it is a good enough one. you can use whichever type of paper you prefer. I personally do not like glossy and would rather use a matte finish.
Or you can print your LO's at photo shop type stores, costo, walmart, walgreens and such.
There are also online sites which you can upload your LO to and have them printed from sites such as Shutterfly...and oh my so many other ones!! LOL Can't remember all the names.
Another thing to do is use the search funtion at the top of the main forum page and type in Printing, this should give you about 1000's post talking about who everyone likes, who they use and what they prefer!! hth's a little

typically, printing at home costs between $1.00 and $2.00 for an 8x10 depending on your printer (pigment vs dye) and the quality of paper (staples vs red river). The ink usage will not be a major expense so don't worry.. you'll need to replace carts every so often but just remember that if you don't print very often, you might clog up your printer and then use tons of ink to keep clean the heads. So, try to print something at least twice a week.. you'll save ink that way.

Oh... and try to keep the printer on all the time... that way, it won't go through the head clean when you turn it on... another huge ink saver! Good Luck!

Hey Pesto,

Thanks for those tips. I didn't know that about keeping the printer on all the time. We do anyway, for convenience sake, but now I have a better excuse!
