Hi.. just wanted to update you all on my experience with Blurb! Last time I posted about them, I mentioned their software was a bit of a problem and things were just ok. Well, they ahve since made some improvements to the software and I just ordered another 10 copies of a poetry book I made for a client... and I'm again really impressed with it.

The things that really makes it stand out from shutterfly, etc book products is the full color dust jacket that comes on the hard cover version. It allows for full color front/back and inside jacket photos/text. Really makes for a super pro look!

I'm going to put togther a 100 page photo book of my work and will let you know how that goes... should be a real nice pro way to show my work to potential clients and family!

Very competitive for what you get although they don't have any 20% type coupons yet - only free shipping for those "in the know"..

Here is the breakdown for Full color hardcover with dust jacket:
(softcover is about $10 cheaper).

121-160 - $39.95

Not bad considering...

Does it give a square book option? If so what size? I went to their site but can't really get any info on the size options.

Found it in the FAQ section on binding...

Portrait – 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide, portrait orientation (available now).
Landscape – 8 inches tall by 10 inches wide, landscape orientation (available now).
Modern – Unique 7 by 7-inch size (coming soon).
Novel – 9 inches tall by 6 inches wide (coming soon).

Yes.. the sizes right now are limited to those sizes - not really all that great for scrapping but nice if you'd like other types of books. Should have mentioned that!

The modern wouldn't be too bad for a scrapper.
