I just got the Epson 1800 and I'm having some printing problems already! When I print my layout only the middle of the design prints leaving white on the top and bottom. I'm choosing the right paper size from what I can gather from the manual. Has anyone had this problem or suggest a way to fix it? I really want to start printing my layouts!!

Sounds like maybe it's a landscape / portrait orientation problem, try switching it and check the preview,

What program are you printing from? If Photoshop, are you sure the setting are correct in Print with Preview? It will show you what it will look like when printed.. Could be the Centered setting is incorrect as well.
