This may not be ANY help, but I paper-scrap in 12"x12", but I print my digi layouts at 8"x8" ~~ I do them myself on 8.5 x 11" photo paper and trim off the excess. Yeah, I go through some ink, but I am pretty pleased with the results.

If you design your pages with important data really close to the edge, you may lose up to a couple of mil around the edges. If you have a trimmer, then maybe you could try asking for the pages untrimmed and do it yourself. I would suggest the best solution is to be mindful of trimming when you design your page. Also remember if you intend having the layouts bound into a book, that you will have a binding edge to consider. Then you will want to leave even more space and not put your text in the binding edge. most of us only design our pages one at a time. It's worth while designing as a two page spread if you can.

"I don't have a costco near me...Do you know if they ship them out?"

I think costco does ship but only in US and CA.

In my own opinion i think it is much better to get your materials on proffesional hands...there are some online websites in there which can help you decide for free..

here are some sites just to get you started:
