Ah! That's the problem! It has to be true 12x12. The new paper (12x12) came out a few months before the printer did, but I think some stores are trying to sell of their old stock.

This is the cheapest I've found it: http://www.atlex.com/Epson/more/scrapbook_paper.htm

That should solve your problems!

Victory!!!!

Thanks everyone for your detective work on the printer issues.

I purchased the new epson 12x12 paper, which is truly 12x12 and printed 4sides borderless!!!!

YAY!!!!

BTW I had grumbled about my issues with epson tech support, but by the time they were through with me they had offered to send me a whole new printer if the issue didn't resolve after trying a couple of other their suggestions for fixes. I have to give them credit for that!

Again, thanks!

Hooray!! So glad to hear everything is working for you!!

I've had great experiences with Epson's tech support - as long as the printer is under warranty (less than a year old), they'll send a new one out to you if they can't figure out what the heck is wrong with it. Then you just send the old one back to them in the same box. Easy as pie. I've actually had to do that twice with a 2200 - finicky things don't take well to being shipped around the country dozens of times!!

Angry

I'm so glad you finally got it all figured out! But now that I look at my paper it is the old stuff too! Not that I could print borderless but it doesn't fit in my 12x12 album! I hadn't even tried that because I was waiting to buy the album when it was on sale. I have 5 packs of the old paper (at $15 a pop) and now don't know what to do. The white border didn't bother me, but the fact that it doesn't fit in the page protectors does! Wahhh!

Just had to vent!

It looks like in the link that it is the red packaging which is true 12x12, so as long as they ship out that (and not old stock in the blue packaging) it is the right stuff. And I'm pretty sure they wouldn't do that. I bought mine at CompUSA a couple of months ago before they came out with the new stuff. I didn't read the fine print on the packaging.

Well, thank you all for actually solving my problem! I just bought the old blue packs at Comp USA, not knowing there was any other. I've had the same problems with their paper but not with non-Epson true 12x12, although the quality isn't there for the photos. I'm going to get the Epson true 12x12. I'll use up my 4 packs of 11.6 x 11.6 either with borders or for embellishments, titles etc. Thanks again for stopping the insanity I was going through!
