Shipping to Canada...

Does anyone know whether places like whcc, mpix and adoramaPix ship to Canada, and if so, what the shipping costs are like? Thanks.

Shipping to Canada

Hi there,
I have been using Shutterfly for several years and have been pleased with the service. You do pay in American dollars, and sometimes it takes 10 days to receive photos, but I have been pleased with the quality, and have never had any problems with them.
Also, check out photolab. If you are ordering 4X6 to 8X10 photos, you can pick up your photos at a Loblaws, Superstore, Real Canadian Superstore etc. depending on what province you live in. Larger prints have to be shipped (3.99 for 11X14). I haven't tried them yet, but this is just to let you know what's available and you can order online, then pick up your photos or have them shipped.
I have used Costco here. They are by far the cheapest, but make sure you format your LO's correctly on your CD because they will make a print that is 11X16 with no intervention,,,which means you might get prints that are 16 inches wide, with half your LO missing. So far, they don't have an online setup so you have to bring your memory card or CD into the store..
Hope this helps

I'm not sure if I trust Shutterfly for my LO's. I have used them before, but wasn't quite satisfied with the quality. Not bad, but could have been better in my opinion. I was really hoping some of the professional places that everyone talks about would ship to Canada.

On that note - I did contact Mpics - very impressed b/c they responded almost immediately. They said they don't ship to Canada - yet - but are looking into it in the near future. Haven't inquired at the other two places though if anyone knows the answer.

I've been quite happy with the 12 x 18 prints I had done at Future Shop.

Thumbs up

www.photolab.ca is great prices and excellent quality. I am a photo lab manager with westfair foods (extra foods, superstore, etc) I get my digial pictures done online and they are perfect, plus I like the prices:
4x6 $0.25
5x7 $0.99
8x10 $2.99
check it out

It says on the web site 12x18 prints are $10.99, but I think you get them in the mail. I am in a small northern place so I haven't got digital get in my lab not until this year sometime, so I have to get them sent in the mail.
