Font changed in JPG?

I took an 8.5"11 page to Kinkos to print out...I saved it as a psd with layers AND as a jpg. They first printed the jpg, and one of my fonts changed from a script font to arial. He then printed the psd and it came out fine. Does anyone know what happened? He didn't have any answers. What was more odd about it, my drop shadow from the script font was still in script, it was just the type itself that changed...and it wasn't ALL the script...the page title was just fine!

Any explanations or suggestions?

Are you sure it was not the other way around? I mean if you flattened the jpg - and saw that the font was correct yourself, it should have printed out what you saw. The unflattened file, however, can still change depending on the available fonts on another computer...

LOL...POSITIVE! That's why I was so confused. I dropped them off and told them to print the jpgs. When I looked at them, I noticed the font. The manager opened the jpg and part of the font had changed. He then went to a different computer and opened the Photoshop file and it printed fine. <insert X-Files music here>.
