Before I started scrapbooking, my ink cartridges lasted 9 months. I bought new cartridges on the 11th and printed about 25 pages at best quality since then. The ink levels still show as half full but the blue seems to be completely gone (blue is printing up purple, where for a previous print it was perfect, and I use a TON of blue, given I have so many men in the house!). I called lexmark to confirm this.
There is NO WAY I'm spending $30 a week on ink! So I found a refill kit at overstock meant specifically for my cartridges and ordered it.
I plan on only refilling the blue, and not all the way up (last time I used a refill kit with my old printer I overfilled and ruined the dang thing

), but I'd like to know what to expect quality wise? I'm assuming the refill ink isn't as good, but will it be good enough? It's not like I have a choice to buy cartridges so often!
